How to Pass the Board Exam

Are you taking the Nursing Board Exam, Civil Engineering Board exam , LET Teachers Board Exam, Mechanical Engineering Board Exam, Chemical Engineering Board Exam and many other board exams given by the state or country you live in? Have you taken the board exam several times and failed? Are you wondering how other students simply take the exam once and pass? Well, if you really want to be a registered profession by passing these board exams, do the following:

1. Enroll in a Review School
No matter how hard you study if you do not know the topics or coverage that will possibly come out in the board exam, then chances are you will fail. If a topic come out and you simply do not have any clue what the question is about, then you will surely not get the correct answer. Passing requires focus on subjects or topics that are most probable to come out and there are institutions who are experts on this - the review centers. Reviewers make a living by making the students pass the exams. They do this by focusing their lectures on topics that are most likely to come out. This is done by studying the previous board exam questions and researching the specializations and favorite subjects or topics of the reviewers. Once this is determined, review schools tailor their lecture materials on this. This technique is very effective since you cannot study everything during the course of the review.

2. Count the Number of Study Study Hours
Do not rely on the number of days during which you study. This is very tricky. Sometimes, you think that you have studied a lot because several days have passed. It is not the number of days but the number of hours during which you study. You have to study at least 8 hours a day to pass the board exam. This is mininum and very important. You need to manage your time!

3. Manage Your Energy
Energy management is a very important technique to learn a lot in a short period of time. By the way, it is not just the number of hours during which you study but also the level of energy you have during the time you study. When you get up early in the early morning, it is great that you wash your face and study for at least 2 hours. Your energy is so high when just got up from sleep or rest. This way you absorb and understand a lot of concepts that you read. Manage your energy well, do not exercise to much or take long walks, or do hosehould chores. They will just use up all the energy you have for a given day. Especially in the morning, never do a lot of physical work. Once you do this, you will be tired and their will nothing left for a quality review.

4. Always Refresh the Concepts that You Have Reviewed.

When the board exam is three weeks away, start refreshing the things that you have reviewed. Read your notes again and do it fast so that you refresh all the formulas and important concepts. Especially the formulas. Sometimes there are problems that are quite easy but you cannot not answer just because you cannot remember the formulas. As much as possible, read your notes at least 5 times. Never forget to refresh ! This is very important in fact I would say that this is the most important part of the review!

5. Pray to God
Alyways pray to God. Ask from Him guidance and also luck so you will pass the board exam! Just mix in prayers in your review. It will help. Good luck!

As far I can remember 15 years ago AFP was one of the most disciplined and role model in the Philippines in terms of character, integrity and loyalty. I can still remember when the media especially newspaper were so impressed by the notion of AFP's integrity. Today that myth has been busted again. Barusa exposed the anomalies that happened in the AFP. Barusa exposed that Reyes recieved 50 million pesos as a sendoff money (pabaon)in his retirement. Furthermore, he alleged that Reyes also recieved P5 Million pesos a month! I believe Barusa because this is not the first time the AFP is accused of corruption and scandal. As a matter of fact, the reason why the Magdalo soldiers coup de tat during Arroyo was the accusation that the AFP generals and other high ranking officers sold the government firearms to the rebels like the MILF!

There is a picture passed around the internet that shows a picture of Richard Guttierrez and <>Solenn. This became known today as the Richard and Solenn scandal. From the first glimpse of it, the picture looks intriguing but upon little scrutiny the picture reveals itself as a fake one. I am very convinced that this picture was photoshoped and the people who photoshopped this picture are the clumsest and most idiot ever! It is very clear from the colors of the two person that the picture is nothing but an assembly of two different pictures taken from obviously different lights!

Gwyneth Paltrow was caught on a still picture while getting out of his car. The picture shows her panty which became known as Gwyneth Paltrow panty scandal. I don't think there is a big deal about this. The Britney Spears scandal was a big one but that of Gwyneth Paltrow I don't think there is. What's the big deal when you can see her in bikini during summer days. There is nothing big deal about this. However there is something that celebrity women should learn from it. When getting out of a car they should make extra caution so that they will not expose their undies anymore or better tell their drivers to avoid the paparazis.

Charice Pempengco came her in the Philippines this month. We know that Charice Pempengco is a Hollywood star and already a world class sensation soshe is expected to act the way Holywood stars do. However because of Filipino crab mentality running in the blood veins of Ogie Diaz, he criticized the acts of Charice Pempengco on the way she have had her bodyguards around her. The criticism by Ogie Diaz on Charice sounded like Charice doesn't have the capability to become a world class celebrity. These criticisms were twitted by Ogie Diaz and Charice fans reacted and twitted back against Ogie. I believe Ogie made a huge mistake here and it is appropriate that he apologized.

Eton Residences Gondola Accident | Cause of the Eton Gondola Accident

Another contruction accident happened in the Philippines and it was a very mesirable one. Eleven workers
fell with a gondola platform when the cables that held it broke. Of the eleven who stood on the gondola platform 10 died and only one survived. According to the initial investigation, the cause off the accident was overloading. The capacity of the gondola platform was 5 men but 11 stood on it. If the capacity of the gondola was indeed 5 men and 11 used it then overloading is the most possible cause of the accident. If it is not then the structural engineer who designed the gondola must have his both feet teetering now because he will be accountable for this. If it was not due to overloading, then the foreman or the project-in-charge must be held accountable. Ordinary costruction workers do not know the capacity of these platforms. The engineer in the site is responsible for reminding these workers of the gondola's capacity. If it was not due to overloading, then it must be due to the defect of the cables and connections. Then the maintenance and quality control will be held responsible. And lastly, remote possibility but still possible is foul play. I hope that the city engineers and the government will make their standards governing contruction stricter and more stringent so that accidents like these will no longer happen in the future.

This news caught my eyes this morning. A bomb exploded killing 2 and leaving others woulded in a passenger bus in Metro Manila. Reports said that terrorists were again behind this barbaric act. Terrorist are out again in Metro Manila. News like this really terrorizes me. I even develop a phobia and a paranoia on this. I rarely go out and mix in the crowd in malls and other public places. You really never know who is the kind of person right beside you. I no longer ride the MRT/LRT and buses. I even preferred jeepney and taxi because there were no reported bombing carried out on these vehicles. This government should beef up the police and military personnels specializing on cracking down terrorist groups.

Reviewing Besavilla Engineering Review Center

I reviewed at Besavilla Engineering Review Center and there is only one thing thing I can say : The review was awesome and terrific. This is not a paid post. I just don't have anything to blog and this idea crossed my mine. I could not help myself by blog it because I don't know it is like thoughts keep on running through my head and building up pressure and will explode if I don't spit it out on this blog. Anyway, back to the review stuff. I did not have the plan on reviewing in a review center because I thought I could pass the board exam by doing self review but I eventually gave in to the temptation to take glimpse of the center and ended up paying P6000 pesos for the review.

When the review started I was a bit nervous because there were so many students from other schools. I was afraid they may discover that I had forgotten so many things on civil engineering. But as the reviewer went on writing the formulas and explaining them together with the examples, I started recalling the engineering concepts I learned several years ago. I could not believe how clearly the reviewers explained the important points of the different subjects. They did not lecture hastily and made sure that everything was understood by the students. Most importantly, during the review I learned and understood a lot of concepts which I failed to grasp in school.

By the way, one more thing there was a girl, a reviewee, who really inspired me. She is so beautiful and I hope we will met again. I promised to myself that I will find her when I get rich! Keep up good work BERC and good luck to all reviewees!

Pacquiao Grand Reunion 2010 | Third Pacquiao Clan Grand Reunion

The Pacquiao Clan 2010 Grand Reunion was after all not so grand. This was the Third Pacquiao Clan Reunion. The 1st and 2nd Pacquiao clan reunion were of grand scale but the 3rd Pacquiao clan reunion was unfortunately not. In the first and 2nd reunion Pacquiao showed up but in the 3rd Manny Pacquiao did not show up. This was because Manny Pacquiao was very busy on his vacation with his family in Boracay and to Australia later. Manny was also busy because he was already a congressman and besides December is a busy month. The Pacquiao 3rd Reunion was held in Iligan City. Helicopters flew over Iligan city and the Pacquios thought it was Manny Pacquiao. Unfortunately, it was not. The helicopters were flewing over Iligan city because there was an encounter in in the nearby areas according to one of the natives in the place. Though Manny did not show up, the reunion still went on but some of the relatives went home early.

Sinulog Festival 2011 in Cebu City

This was the first time I came here in Cebu and I was able to witness the Sibnulog Festival 2010. The celebration was really awesome! This has been the most exciting and the most awesome festival I have ever witnessed in my life. I could not believe how lively this religious festival is. People in Cebu are very participative and accomodating to tourists who visited the town to witness the said yearly event. I got my first real-life glimpse of the beautiful sinulog festival dancers inside SM City Cebu on saturday the day before the actual Sinulog festival. I was so entertained by the glamorous dancers. They were young and the smile on the faces of the girl dancers were so captivating that I could not help myself but took several pictures of them.

There were a lot of foreigners who came in Cebu to witness Sinulog 2011. Most of which were Koreans. There are also americans,japanese, british, africans and europeans. On the day of the festival, there was a place in Cebu called Pasil of which fiesta coincides with the day of Sinulog. I went there and the crowd were so huge. My car could barely move. The place was like Tondo, Manila but I still love it. The people are very hospitable, accomodating and entertaining. I really love the Cebu girls- they are so lovable and very nice.

What I liked it very much were the Sinulog Festival dancers. The Sinulog dancers and their costumes are very unique. I really the sinulog dance steps and the costumes are grand and majestic!

Have you heard of the Cubao Footbridge Scandal. Are you looking for one of the most scandalous bridge ? Then it is nothing but the Cubao Foot Bridge. This foot bridge is located over the Aurora-Edsa intersection. This looks like an innocent utility bridge from afar but walk over here at night and see it for yourself how scandalous this structure is. At night, almost everyday, pokpoks are everywhere poking around passersby inviting them to engage in there nasty business. For P300 you get all the way service said one of the toothless pokpok. I could not believe the first time I passed over this foot bridge. Girls blocked my way and said "gimik" which the code of the trade. I could not believe such a very public and open place turned into a place like this. This place simply shocked and still stuns me of why does it happen. There are police and tanods around but pokpoks are still there on and around the footbridge disturbing and inviting passersby.

MMDA Bus Scandal

Have you heard of or seen the MMDA Bus Scandal? This is one of the ridiculous scandals that ever landed on tabloid papers and broadcasted on the national television. This was two or 3 years ago if I'm not mistaken when an MMDA Bus was used like a motel. A man and woman was found making out at the backseat of the MMDA Bus. This was not an account of a witness but a report of a raid done by the media men. The tabloid papers showed pictures of the couple caught in the act. They were both undressed and the whole scene was a certain piece of scandal. The worse thing about it was that this was broadcasted through the national televisions. This incident created discussions as to what was going on in the MMDA buses and how come did it happen. How could an MMDA Bus become a motel? As far as I can remember, this incident happened when Bayani Fernando was no longer the MMDA chairman. It looked like the MMDA discipline instilled by Bayani disappeared so fast when he left the said agency. I hope that there will be no more scandals like this in the future. As for me, this was the most shameful scandal involving a government utility ever!

Luneta Park Scandal | Rizal Park Park Scandal

Did you know of the luneta scandal? Luneta is a beautiful park in which Filipinos like to hang out. It is not as crowded as it was before the advent of SM malls. However there are still significant people who still hang out and even sleep overnight at the Luneta park. The last time I visited this place sleeping in the park overnight was no longer allowed but back, If i'm not mistaken, in 2003 sleeping overnight in the Luneta park was allowed. During the time there were so many Filipinos specially the homeless, travellers from the provinces and people applying for overseas job slept overnight at the Luneta park. The park management was generous then to the immediate needs of these people. However people prior to that, in the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s Luneta was a place where lovers held their regular dates. Even today, this place remains a choice of couple who want to hang out and date. Due to these and the very public nature of this place, scandalous things happened in this area. There were rumors and even actual tabloid reports about couple doing naughty things during the night in a dark area of the park. There was also a tabloid report that wrote about a couple caught by the guards of the park and were even abused by the guards by forcing the couple to repeat what they have in the park's office. The guards were reported to the police for the said abuse. This also became a huge issue in the tabloids. There are a lot of scandal stories/rumors that talk about naughty things that happened in the Luneta park. However today this thing rarely happens because the management are very strict on maintaining security, beauty and also decency in this park.

This was caught in a high definition video and was broadcast nationwide i national TVs. It created a big controversy. I have seen the video and the act is indeed very scandalous literally. The foreigners continued even when they realized that a camera bad been rolling hot behind them. That was so hot to the foreigners but not to the natives of this country. They should have realized that they are in foreign land and the culture is a bit different. Making love is great but shoould be done in the right time and right place!

Call centers and I.T. parks have mushrommed everywhere in the Philippines, India and other 3rd World countries selling the cheapest labor in the world. This is a respond to the high demand of buildings to house agents and I.t. workers, and the positive speculations of real estate investors. The investors are right at the moment but if they think that this is going to last long they have to think thrice because it is not. It is quite ironic, awkward and ridiculous to me everytime I see new call center or I.T. building being built in an I.T./call center park like the Asiatown I.t. park in Cebu, I.T. parks in Alabang, Ortigas, Makati, Baguio, and many other cities in the Philippines and India. Do call center agents and programmers really need to get up early and rush to a building in an I.T. park to eventually sit in front of their PC when they have PC and cheap internet connection at home enough to handle voice or even video data at high quality? I.T. parks/call center parks are nothing but stone-age version odesk.com and freelancer.com. Call center agents and I.T. workers don't have indulge in the hassle of getting up early and swimming though the ocean of vehicles and humans along highways in the cities. All they have to do is log on to odesk.com and freelancer.com to access their thousands of clients and companies from anywhere in world.
Mark my words, call center and I.T. park buildings are doomed. The future is online as the internet gurus have predicted in the 90's. This is the biggest scandal that will rock the world of investors and agents.
