Great wars today are not fought in a wide land battlefield. They are fought in twitter. The latest twitter war scandal is that of Jim Paredes and Sen. Bongbong Marcos. Jim Paredes twitted to account @DearNoynoy "Huwag mong payagang malibing ang nagkukunwaring Ferdinand Marcos sa Libingan ng mga Bayani." . Bongbong replied , "Nagkukunyari?' Galing sa iyo, nakakatawa ka; ni di mo mailagay iyong tunay na pangalan at litrato. No time for cowards (duwag)." . Jim replied: "Hinaharas ako ni @bongbongmarcos. saan galing ba ang lahi nito? puwede bang makahingi ng tulong?" . Bongbong replied: "You just confirmed your cowardice."
Bongbong has a point. Celebrities and policians should at least use their real picture and real name and confirm in public that they are there real owners of those accounts. And Jim Paredes is also right. Ferdinand Marcos was no way a hero. He was the villain, the oppressor, the tyrant !
