Board Exam Cheating Scandal

There have been a lot of stories about board exams cheating scandal. One of which was the rumor that once upon a time it was possible that a board exam taker can pass the exam without taking the exam at all. According to the rumors, this was during the 1960 to 1990. This board exam cheat was possible by having a proxy. The real board examinee would hire someone else who had passed the exam and take the exam on his behalf. This was made possible because, according to the rumor, exam watchers did not check or forgot to check the face in the photo against the person who would take the exam.

Another cheating was the leakage scheme. According to the rumor, a day before the exam the review centers were given tips and even the exact questions that would come out in the board exam. There were also rumors that during the 1950 to 1990, it was possible to pay some personnel in the PRC to get a license.

Well, maybe some of these rumors were true. However, I believe that those were very few and should not be used to consider the PRC as corrupt during those days. Fortunately, today PRC's reputation is very good. One of my reviewers, when I was reviewing, told us that it is so hard cheat in the board exam nowadays because the PRC today is so strict at implementing the rules and guidelines in conducting board exams.

This is great news because it brings back the trusts of the people on the capabilities of our licensed professionals. If this high standard is maintained by this authority, people will look up you and pay high respect on you the moment they know that you are a licensed professional.
