Willie Revillame is like Oprah Wimprey of the Philippines. The fans of Willie follows him religiously wherever Willie goes! This is how charismatic Willie Revillame has become. He is so idolized and revered by his fans. And why is that so? It reflects the status of this country, stupid. Willie symbolizes the hope of the poor Filipino masses. Willie's programs give away prizes which is the reason why people come and watch the program.
He also throws jokes that effectively but temporarily remove the miseries and problems that the Filipino people. This is how poor and miserable this country has become. Begging of the beggars even goes to the national TV! I hope the new administration will continue to fight corruption and jail corrupt officials in this country.
