Rapamycin from Easter Island Can Extend Lifespan

A chemical compound rapamycin found in the soil of Easter Island in South Pacific can be used as a main component in an anti-aging pill that can extend human lifespan for 13 years. This is based on the research report that rapamycin was able to extend the lifespan of mice which diet was added with rapamycin. Though it is not yet confirmed that this could be the case for humans, scientists believe that the rapamycin compound found in Easter Island can add a decade of human's life span.
