President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo declared July 27, 2009 as a Non-Working Holiday in celebration of the founding anniversary of Iglesia Ni Cristo. This is also called as the Iglesia Ni Cristo Day . President Gloria also thanks the founders and present leaders of the INC for its significant role in developing the spiritual and moral values of the Filipino people. However, this declaration has raised the eyebrows of her political opponents, businessmen and critical Filipino people. As far as I know this is the first time that the foundation day of a Christian sect is declared a non-working holiday. Therefore to be fair Gloria should also declare the foundation days of other Christian sects like Jesus is Lord Movement and El Shaddai as no-working Holidays. Needless to say, this is just a purely political move in line with the Gloria's Charter Change (CHA-CHA) to extend its power! Shame On You Pres. Arroyo!! This holiday shitness will just sink down further the small and medium business in this country just for you to
gain polical support from a sect which is historically proven to be political. Lord have mercy on us! May Gloria Resign!!
